What is DIGILOG? It’s about combining aspects from the DIGITAL and the ANALOG way. It’s not actually a word. We just totally made it up. 

When it comes to full arch on implant planning, we absolutely love our digital tools! Digital impression techniques are great for planning and transferring important info while meshing everything together. They allow us to visualize and plan, and play in such a way that the analog way was never able to do before. You can create a plan, share it virtually with your dentist/surgeon/lab team without even leaving our respective office, discuss, make changes and all of that with such ease. It’s wonderful.

But when it comes to full arch cases, despite all of the advancement in digital technology, it is still not safe to say that a digital impression for a full arch case is as precise as an analog one. Therefore, the analog impression is still the safest route for full arch cases (other than the PIC system).
